Concentrates

Concentrates
All the energy and protein the cow can not get out of the basic feed is supplemented in the concentrates. So the amount of concentrates and the contents are depending on the milk performance of the cow. Concentrates are mixtures of cereals (wheat, barley, maize) rape meal, sunflower meal, peas, soya, etc. In animal feed manufacturing mills they are ground. Sometimes they are also pressed to pellets.
