From cow to manure

This topic, "from cow to manure", is part of the mineral circle.

The goal of this topic was to find out something about what gets into a cow and what comes out. Then we started to think about the difficulties in a cow's digestion. The structure in feeding and the quality of manure and milk are our main subtopics. The other main problem was the nitrogen lost in the cow's digestion.

The main sources of information for our work were farmers and their experiences about  mineral losses. We also used the Internet and   information found in books about this subject.
