Sell your own product

Some products you can sell directlty to the consumer in a farmshop. A farmshop is on one side a way to create more profit, you take away the traders who take money.

On the other side it is also good for the reputation of farming, people see what happens on a farm and if they know what happens they get trust in farmers.

Chances

Both in Norway and Holland we saw this solution. You have to take care that there is a good market if you want to start a shop. Biggest disadvantage is that there always has to be a person in the shop, so your partner has to do that are you have to hire an employee for it.
