Energy is getting more expensive in the future so energyproduction on your farm can be interesting to create more income.

There are diferent ways to produce energy. You can use windmills or watermills to produce energy. Another option is to produce biogas from manure and corn or other plants. With the gas you can run an engine and with a dynamo you can produce energy.

Chances

Energy is getting more expensive all over the world and everywhere they have to find new ways to make energy. Windmills are used a lot in Holland and in Norway they don't have it on farms. Biogas production is coming in Holland, in Norway we did not see it. The biggest problem of this solution is the big investment you have to make. Also getting permissions to build these enrgyproducers can be a problem.
