Regulation of manure applying

 

You can’t apply manure usually between October 15th and April 15th in Finland. If the ground is melt and dry, we can apply manure as far as November 15th and we can start applying manure in the 1st of April at the earliest. It is forbidden to spread manure to surface of grass after the 15th of September. You can spread hard manure maximum of 30 t/ha and slurry maximum of 20 t/ha in one time.

 

Regulation for fertilizing

 

There is environmental supports in Finland, which determines how much fertilize you can use.
