Health and fertility

Animal welfare in housing has a very important influence on the health and fertility of dairy cows.
Cows, which live in a proper stable and have a chance to follow their natural behaviour without stress, discomfort and pain ,are mostly in a better shape than others.
And if you look at it from an other angle, you can see that the status of health and fertility is a good sign about a situation in a stable.
So if farmers have problems with health and fertility in their herd it is most of the time caused by mistakes in management and housing.
