The milking robot

The milking robot is an easier way of milking your cows. It is getting more and more popular on the big farms. In the Netherlands are the most users of the milking robots.

Advantages:

It’s an easier way to milk you’re cows.

It´s takes less labour.

It counts the number of cells pr. Ml milk every time it is milking. So it can throw away the bad milk.

If a cow has special needs you can adjust it on the computer just to that special cow.

It take less space in the than normal milkingsystems.

You can follow every thing on the computer, and it tells you if something is wrong.

It is of high quality steel so it last longer. 

Disadvantages:

You don’t get the same contact whit your cows. So you can’t see if the cow is bad in any other way.

It costs a lot of money and takes some time to install. If it brakes down for a day ore two you don’t have anything else to milk the cows.
