Some advantages of having another job outside the farm

The dad and son/daughter can have a co-operationship in the farm. Next to that, the son/daughter can also have a job outside of the farm.

For example: he/she is working for a contractor. This is a good thing for earn "strange" money. This money can braught in, into the co-operation.

In that way they can collect more money, so when he/she take over the farm, they have more possibilities and the bank will have more trust.

The benefits:

- Profit is transferable to the follow up

- Increase the financial capacity

- Look around on other places

- Working on contract

The disadvantages:

- There is less time for his own farm

- Takes long to be independant farmer
